Travis Scott's MTV VMAs' seat moved away from Nicki Minaj

Travis Scott's seat at the MTV Video Music Awards has been moved away from Nicki Minaj following her online rant towards him over the weekend.

The Anaconda hitmaker's fourth album, Queen, missed out on a number one debut on the Billboard 200 chart on Sunday (19Aug18) when Travis' new release, Astroworld, held on to the top spot, prompting an angry Nicki to take to Twitter to blast the rapper.

She suggested the only reason his album sales had beaten hers was because he was offering up pre-sale access to his live shows with each project, via his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who plugged a link to Travis' website to her 113 million followers alongside the caption, "me and storm ready for tour", referencing the couple's six-month-old daughter Stormi.

Posting a screenshot of Kylie's post, the Super Bass singer ranted: "Travis sold over 50k of these. With no requirement of redeeming the album! With no dates for a tour, etc. I spoke to him. He knows he doesn't have the #1 album this week (sic)."

She also added that she put her "blood sweat & tears into writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl (people) to come see her & Stormi..."

Travis and Kylie were set to sit behind Nicki at the VMAs prizegiving in New York City on Monday (20Aug18), but their seats have reportedly been moved to the other side of the venue, according to TMZ.

Travis has yet to comment on Minaj's rant, and it is unclear if the drama will be addressed at the awards show.
